TCA football

tonight, friday the 27th day of september, in the year of 2013, trinity christian academy is playing Jackson Central-Merry. JCM will be the most athletic team Trinity has played all year, and will pose for a dificult game. but, trinity has a 5-0 season, an all state offense, and a strong defense, so i believe this game will be a great game to watch, but TCA will pull off the win. i have faith in highschool team because kyle akin is the best quarter back in west TN, he has leading recieving yards, and is even ranked in rushing yards. we also have 3 receivers in the top 20, and multiple running backs like james and pony. TCA is the best and we will go to state and win, end of story.

Plagiarism

How would you respond if you were convicted of plagiarism?
-if i was convicted of plagiarism, i would have one of two reactions. first, if i had plagiarised, and knowingly cheated, then i would feel ashamed and i would know i derserve punishment. but, if i hadnt plagiarised, or didnt mean to plagiarise, then i would feel that i didnt deserve pounishment, or atleast not a drastic punishment.

How would your parents respond?
-my parents would not be happy with me, and they would punish me themselves, on top of whatever school punishment i received. they would never trust me to write a paper again, and would make sure that i learn my lesson.

Do you feel as if you deserve a passing grade because you parents pay tuition?
-no, regardless of my parents paying tuition, its still cheating and lieing. money should have no effect on whether or not the law is is fulfilled

Does this story affect your view of plagiarism?
-yes, it makes plagiarism seem more real to a teenager like me and it shows me that this stuff realy haoppens and that it has real life consiquences

What do you take away from this narrative?
-i see this story as mostly a culture shock. this proves that real, avergae students ccan mess up and plagiarise, and that if it happens it will affect more than just their grade or their life, it can also affect their school and even their town.

Grand Theft Auto 5: simply a video game

Grand Theft Auto: Cinco

Cinco is Spanish for five

so far, grand theft auto 5 has sold over 800 million dollars in sales. and it has only been out for 2 days. along with making money, grand theftauto 5 has also brought up a lot of harsh comments from parents and people who think GTA5 is evil.

         1) is play endorsement?
no, this is a fake, virtual worl that is completely made up of cartoon, computer generated things and people. it is not real life and therefore compares nothing to reality.

         2) what do you get from playing?
considering all of the people i know that have the game, i rarely hear them talk about it, and most of them only play the game on the weekends when theyre bored and doing nothing. not one single guy i know has suddenly become interested in robbing a bank or killing people, they are simply the same person.

         3) who else in your life is playing?
as i said in the previous question, there is no difference in any of my friends that play this game. when they are at school or practice they talk about sports and think about sports. when im hanging out with them they talk about regular stuff and act normal. everyone is freaking out over this game when there is really nothing to be afraid of. just because someone playes a game it does mean there entire life is instantly going to revolve around that one game. this question is completely invalid.

           4) do you know when to quit?
quiting a game is as easy as going to the bathroom. when you feel the urge to pee, you go pee. when your tired or hungry or bored, you stop playing. when someone asks you to go do somthing like your mom or girlfriend or firends, you go with them. people should stiop asking kids if they know when to quit playing a video game, and start asking adults when they plan on quiting smoking and drugs and getting drunk.

           5) Should Christians who are indwelt by the Lord Jesus Christ have moral issues with killing people in a virtual world?
no. a virtual world is completely harmless, and despite what paranoid parents think, it will not affect their kids in any way. unless a cartoon, virtual, animated person pops up in front of them. killing virtual people is just about as bad as beating up little mushroom heads, or killing donkey kong. and last time i checked my dad wasnt running around dodging barels trying to save peach from an evil gorrilla.

Last weekend, the Clemson tigers played the Georgia bulldogs in Death Valley. This was definetely one of the best game 1 college games of the season, and it was especialy awesome because Clemson won. the game started off rather excitingly, with both teams scoring multiple touchdowns back to back to back to front to back.

the game slowed down, but the intensity continued to progress. as clemson began to pull away, it was evident that they were the superior offense. then, after multiple defensive stops on clemsons behalf, it became clear Clemson would win. as the the fourth quarter roled around Clemson was safely in the lead, and then they won. Clemson is now 4th in the nation, and they are awesome
